summer learning journey week 2 day 3 activity 3

To lift a 500 kg squid you will need 16 adults to work this out I went 400 divided by 25 = 16
and you need you need 6.6666666667 children which is impossible so i rounded it up to 7 kids.  In total thats 23 people to lift the squid.

  1. Hi Daniel

It is great to see that you have problem solved to get this answer. Well done I can see that you have really thought about it. So well done!
You are so right that if you use 6 kids then you are a little bit short of the 500kgs. So I would just round it up to 7 as well and then you are only 5 kgs over the amount.
Better to have too many than not enough.
Do you like maths Daniel? You have worked this our really well. Good to see.

    Great work Daniel

    Keep it up

    Until next time

    Allie :)
